War`Cry was established on 7-15-2001 by Redline, Moon & Willie 3 friends that were gamers and wanted to have a no BS place to enjoy that type of play with other like minded gamers. Pub servers were not our idea of what online gaming was all about, to that end War`Cry set up the original Mind Games server 10-13-2001, it was Counter-Strike, backing real team objective and cooperative team based game play.

We pride ourselves on providing a fun and safe online gaming and community environment for like minded gamers, over the years War`Cry and the community here at warcrygamers has grown to a great verity of people from all over attracted here by Good Games, Good People, Good Friends and Good Times.
Membership to War`Cry is by invitation only, we are not trying to build a monster 1337 clan, they come a dime a dozen. War`Cry members are the custodians of the War`Cry Gamers Community, they are the people that keep this place going and are the site moderators and game server admins. War`Cry is very much part of our community and the community is very much a part of War`Cry, our members come from within our community.
Membership to War`Cry is by Invitation Only. As members become inactive or move on, we take on new members to fill the needs of both War`Cry and the community. Members are chosen who can take on a roll of responsibility in the community and who have the temperament to be good and fair admins that will help keep this community solid and well admin-ed.

War Cry is not just about itself but the community we have attracted over the years, many that play here have played here for years. This community is a gathering of some the finest people on the net getting together to have fun on a fair level playing field. Many here are not just online friends, many have become good friends after meeting at our LANs, or any of the Night Outs.

We take our fun seriously our game servers and forums are run by a strict set of rules that are a culmination of input by War`Cry and the Community to bring about a fair and level playing filed. Our servers and online presence are completely funded by donations from War`Cry Members and the Community.

War Cry has been running the Mind Games server since 11-13-2001. It is a very popular game server, attracting great players that are great people, War Cry members and our community have shaped the server rules that we play by. We have also run TFC, DoD UT2k4, HL2-DM:S, HL2-CTF, and Quake4 servers.

If it's not Mind Games run by War`Cry then it is nothing more then a wannabe imitation.
There are some disgruntles out there who find the need to feed off the well respected name Mind Games that War`Cry has built up over the years.
Don't be fooled by imitation clans or copycat servers, we are the original! If the server IP is not posted on our main page, then they are only using our name in a sad attempt to trick and to bait players to their server.
